Welcome to Nairobi the capital city of Kenya where your tour begins. You will be picked by our representative and transferred to the hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 1Arrival Nairobi

Our professional driver will be waiting for you at the airport for reception. On arrival he will pick you at the airport drive you to the hotel to refresh and relax in preparation for an exciting next day’s activities.

Day 2Nairobi Museum, Giraffe centre,

After breakfast you are picked from the hotel to the Kenya national museum where you sample the country's rich heritage linking the four pillars of our heritage which are nature, culture, history and contemporary art.

You will learn about our history as east Africa as well as learn about the fossils and artifacts of prehistoric man as preserved from Turkana and olduvai Gorge in Tanzania both for education and leisure purposes. The museum also preserves our cultural, traditional and lifestyle history all of which is collaborated here. In the afternoon, we set out on a sightseeing excursion of the Giraffe Centre for a short history of the Centre and a talk on wildlife conservation. Later you will enjoy the exciting moment of feeding the endangered Rothschild Giraffe where you will have a chance to touch and even luckily be kissed by a Giraffe. You’ll later be driven on a short Nairobi city tour before going back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3Nairobi-Murang`a

After breakfast we depart Nairobi and take an exciting drive through Kikuyu farmlands arriving at the cultural villagemukurwewanyagathanga in Murang'aCountyaround mid-day for lunch. Kikuyus traditionally worshipped a single god, Ngai, who was known as the provider and their creator and was believed to have lived at the top of the mountain kirinyaga (Mount Kenya).

Kikuyus believed it was their traditional god who started the Kikuyu tribe by putting on earth a man and woman named Gikuyu and Mumbi at a mythical place of origin known as mukurwewanyagathangawhich is maintained as a cultural heritage site where a detailed history of this cultural heritage site is told by Aramati (elders) who are the caretakers of the site. A ten minute walk from the site to Gathambara, the waterhole of the first Agikuyu family - Gikuyu, Mumbi and their children will follow as well as a tour of the grounds .While here at MukurweWaNyagathanga, you will be entertained with several traditional songs and participate in a food festival of well-cooked Kikuyu indigenous foods.Later you are taken back to your hotel in Nyeri for dinner and get more information about the kikuyus and overnight.

Day 4Amboseli national park

You will have breakfast and drive towards Amboseli National Park to arrive at lunch time. You will have lunch at the camp/lodge. Later in the afternoon there will be game drives in the park. Here one can have a view of the five different habitats ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with springs, the savannah and woodlands.

One can also have an experience of the authentic famous culture of the Maasai best known for their dress and custom. The park also will give you excellent views of Mt Kilimanjaro the highest point in Africa.

You will have your meals and overnight stay at camp or lodge.

Day 5Amboseli National Park to Nakuru national park

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive when you have the best chance to see the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro as well as the night hunters at their best before dawn when they sneak back into the thickets shielding from the sun .

Return to the lodge for breakfast and depart by road via Nairobi and onward to the floor of the Rift Valley making a stopover at view point to marvel at the incredible site of the escarpment as you enjoy a picnic lunch. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park on time for an afternoon game drive. Here you get to see the black and white rhinos, flamingoes, lions, buffalos, giraffes and many more. There is a vast diversity of ecology and habitats. Lake Nakuru is an ideal place for bird watching. Other attractions include unique vegetation, hills, mammals, waterfalls and also view-points. You will have your dinner and overnight stay at camp/lodge.

Day 6:Lake Nakuru National Park – Lake Naivasha

You will have an early morning game drive and then take breakfast. Depart shortly after for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. The lake supports animals like zebras, elands, waterbucks, and other grazers, not forgetting the massive hippos and many warthogs



Activities include an optional boat ride for excellent game viewing in Crescent Island where you can freely walk with the animals in leisure as well as enjoy excellent bird viewing experience.

We will also visit Elsamere conservation centre home of the late Joy and George Adamson who both became famous for their conservation work. It is named after Elsa, the lioness whose life is told in Joy's book 'BornFree'. The Centre boasts a nice museum where one can shop for souvenirs .

Day 7:Naivasha-Maasai Mara

Take breakfast and we leave for Maasai Mara with an anticipated arrival at lunchtime. You’ll check in to the hotel, have lunch and a short siesta after which we will have an afternoon game drive.

Day 8:Maasai Mara

After breakfast we will embark on a morning game drive. In this very popular game reserve you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five and many other plains game and the mara residents. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is Kenya’s most highly rated wildlife experience especially with the spectacular wildebeest’s migration from the month of late June to September.

In the afternoon, enjoy an adventurous visit to the village to experience first hand Maasai traditional dancing, the ladies beadwork crafts and meet local Maasai people in their homesteads as you learn about their culture and interact with them

Leave after breakfast and drive back to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch with an option of having lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant at an extra cost.

Carnivore Barbecue Experience is also described as 'Meat Eaters Paradise' and is the Africa's greatest meat Eating experience with great night life for those with extra time to spare. Later, we transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your onward flight home.
