Day 1Nairobi to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary, Kenya
Distance: 270 kms (3.5-4 hrs) Drive north through the Equator to this private game sanctuary. Arrive in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. Afternoon is free for optional activities as game viewing, walking safaris or night game drives or leisure at the famous kashogi house. A short drive from the luxury Sweetwaters Tented Camp, the house enjoys all the exclusivity of its private location while being close enough to the camp to have access to all its many facilities.

Morning you will have an exciting early morning game viewing experience and an opportunity to feed the enclosed rhino Baraka who is blind but bright enough to recognize his name being called out. Feeding Baraka gives one a thrilling experience with this feeling that you are close enough to him and mother with an opportunity to even touch and caress him.
The expansive 90,000 acre OlPejeta Conservancy is set at the foot of Mt Kenya between the aberdares and Mount Kenya in Laikipia offering magnificent views across the plains to the beautiful snowcapped peak of Mount Kenya.
